INDOMETRO.ID - China menunda dimulainya kegiatan belajar semester baru di sekolah dan universitas di seluruh negeri. Hal ini disebabkan kekhawatiran wabah virus korona baru yang mematikan.
Dilaporkan AFP, Selasa (28/1/2020), keputusan itu muncul ketika jumlah korban akibat virus korona melonjak menjadi 106 orang; dan jumlah total kasus melampaui 4.000 di seluruh negeri.

Para
siswa saat ini masih menjalani libur Tahun Baru Imlek dan kementerian
pendidikan tidak memberikan tanggal pasti kapan kegiatan belajar
dilanjutkan.
Namun, pernyataan dari kementerian menyebut, institusi pengajaran akan dibuka kembali berdasarkan kasus per kasus.
Administrator
sekolah diperintahkan meminta siswa untuk tidak keluar, tidak
berkumpul, dan tidak memegang atau berpartisipasi dalam kegiatan apa
pun.
Pihak berwenang juga memutuskan memperpanjang libur Tahun Baru Imlek, yang semula akan berakhir pada 30 Januari, selama tiga hari.
Hal ini untuk membatasi arus populasi dan mengendalikan epidemi.
